On the 2nd of August, we visited Akagera National Park. It is one of the three national parks in Rwanda. It is about two hours’ drive from Kigali and is in the north-eastern area of Rwanda along the border with Tanzania. (more…)

On the 2nd of August, the medical team went to Gikondo to treat BFR staffs and their family members. The education team went to Kinyinya where Itara (means love in Kinyarwanda) was sharing a local community center as their workshop. Itara was created by GCFC under BFR’s supervision in order to instill much needed self-esteem to BFR moms. (more…)

On the 1st of August, we went to New Life in Jesus Ministries for Sunday Worship Service. It was the church one of the BFR staffs and his wife were members of. We were warned(?) that the service would last three and a half to four hours. (more…)

On 30th of July, we went to Gikondo to participate in Umuganda. It’s a community service rooted in Rwandan culture. In tradition, members of a community would call their family, friends and neighbors to help them complete a difficult task. (more…)

On 29th of July, we visited Vineyard Christian School in Bugesera. Bugesera is a District in Eastern Province and located directly south of Kigali (or Central) Province. The school was founded by an American couple. (more…)
